It's been six months since the Whiteout changed the world, Irene Roman's world in particular. Overnight the world was altered into a superhero reality where some people were "Pushed" into becoming Heroes or Villains with amazing, and dangerous, powers.

Irene is now known as Indomitable, one of the very few who can keep the altered world of the Pushed at bay and see the world for what it truly is.

 

Now she and the Atlanta Five are working within the newly established Pushed Action Response Team, trying to keep Push Crooks from destroying normal people and Push Heroes alike.

 

Sure, she's also juggling a relationship that may or may not last with one of her teammates, keeping a watch on her ex-boyfriend, aka the creator of the Whiteout, and trying to find the other person out there she knows has the same abilities as she does.

 

But it's her addiction to painkillers -- necessary due to the action Irene sees on a daily basis -- that might cause Indomitable to fall and fail. Or it might make her even more unstoppable than before.
